  • Founder, President, Lead Engineer

JoJo Miller is an entrepreneur, artist, expert engineer and producer with a passion for music and a unique talent for translating an artist's vision into a high-quality final product. A native of Maryland, JoJo launched his first recording studio in 2018 in his bedroom closet. After outgrowing the small but cost-effective space, he built a more professional studio in a commercial building co-located with a tattoo studio. Ever the perfectionist and ambitious entrepreneur, JoJo moved HighLife Studios to its current DC location in 2021.

JoJo’s expansive list of clients relies on him to ensure that the technical aspects of recording, mixing, and mastering are executed flawlessly every time. But JoJo's not just a skilled engineer; he's an artist in his own right and his expertise extends beyond the technical to project production and creative direction. From simple recording sessions to high-impact projects that push boundaries, JoJo is known for his ability to bring out the best in a recording and bring each artist's individual vision to life.
