  • What are HighLife’s policies with respect to Recording Services?

    Payment - Payment is due in full at the end of the session and can be made in cash or by credit card. We do not accept checks.

    Deposit - A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the session total is required to confirm the studio booking.

    Session Start Time - Basic setup will be done by your engineer at no cost to you before you arrive.  For billing purposes, the start time of the session begins at the client’s scheduled arrival time.  Upon arrival, further setup will be done based on the client’s specifications.

    Cancellation Policy -

    -Full refund if cancelled in the first 120 minutes

    - Full refund if cancelled up to 3 days before session

    - No refunds within 24 hours of session

    - Partial refund of 50% otherwise

  • How do I book a session?

    You can book a session by clicking the “Book Now” button at the top of the site. This will take you to our booking site “Engineears” where you can choose a location and pick an engineer. Minimum session time is two hours.

  • How will I receive my files after the session?

    Please bring an external drive to load your bounces and session files after your session. No session files are stored or saved on site so it is important that clients bring their own storage. Bounces and sessions can also be sent through email on request.

  • What are your hours?

    We’re here 24/7/365 to support you whenever inspiration strikes

  • Can you accept same day requests?

    Absolutely. We know that artists can’t always plan in advance, and we frequently support last minute requests for studio time and engineering. This is limited to studio and engineer availability and it is recommended that you book in advance.

  • Can I visit the studio now?

    The studios are available by appointment only. However short notice sessions may become available. Please note that the deposit is still required prior to the session. Studio tours and consultations are available on request.

  • Can I record with a band?

    At the moment we are not able to accommodate full band setups. However, we do have the ability to track most instruments with the limitation of drums. Please contact us ahead of time if you plan on bringing in instruments to track.

  • Are your facilities handicap accessible?

    Our facilities are not handicap accessible. Guests must be able to walk up a staircase to enter. We apologize for the inconvenience.
